The NFL Combine officially gets rolling on Wednesday, as the specialists, offensive linemen and tight ends arrive in Indianapolis, Ind., to prepare for their workouts in Lucas Oil Stadium.

Day 1 of the Combine will feature some of the NFL Draft’s likely top picks in offensive linemen. Also, kickers and tight ends.

After touching down in Indianapolis, players register and go through medical pre-examinations, then an orientation and the beginning of the interview process. Thursday brings full medical examinations and physical measurements, as well as media availability and interviews.
The Combine is nothing if not thorough, as Friday continues with psychological testing and further interviews along with a meeting with the NFL Player's Association. Workouts for the kickers and punters also begin. Some of the country's best specialists will be in attendance at the Combine. For kickers, the likes of Dustin Hopkins of the Florida State Seminoles, Caleb Sturgis of the Florida Gators and Quinn Sharp of the Oklahoma State Cowboys are among those in attendance, and punters include Brad Wing of the LSU Tigers -- a big name on the collegiate punting scene -- and Ryan Allen of the Louisiana Tech Bulldogs.
Actual workouts for the offensive linemen and tight ends get going on Saturday, as players will run through the Combine’s various skill and athletic tests, such as the 40-yard dash, as well as position-specific stations. Offensive linemen figure to feature prominently in the first round of the 2013 NFL Draft, as SB Nation's Dan Kadar projects six of them to go in the first 32 picks. Texas A&M offensive tackle Luke Joeckel and Central Michigan's Eric Fisher are two of the highest-rated prospects thus far, along with the Alabama Crimson Tide duo of Chance Warmack and D.J. Fluker.
As far as tight ends go, there could be solid depth at the position, with Tyler Eifert of the Notre Dame Fighting Irish and Zach Ertz of the Stanford Cardinal top the prospects heading into the Combine.
