The official day three of the 2013 NFL Scouting Combine is in the books, and Saturday will see the first real full day of action. Of course, plenty happened on Friday, but on-field workouts for the day one arrivals will take place on Saturday.

Day three of the 2013 NFL Scouting combine featured bench press from the offensive linemen and tight ends, and measurements for the offensive skill positions.

Friday saw the day one arrivals hit the field for some workouts, but that was the showcase for kickers, punters, and even the oft-overlooked long snapper. The real headlines on Friday were the bench press numbers.
And a headline it was, as the offensive linemen got it all started. Eric Herman led the way with 36 reps, one rep higher than Jonathan Cooper, who might be going in the first round of the 2013 NFL Draft. For tight ends, Vance McDonald led his group with a huge 31 reps, while the No. 2 tight end was Zach Ertz with 24 reps.

The day also saw the day three arrivals get their orientation and registration out of the way. That included Group 7 (defensive linemen), Group 8 (more defensive linemen) and Group 9 (linebackers).
On Saturday, the day one arrivals will take part in the timing and station drills and call their time in Indianapolis done. That will also see the quarterbacks, wide receivers and running backs go through the bench press, while the day three arrivals get their measurements out of the way.
