One day after the offensive lineman kicked off the bench press drill at the 2013 NFL Combine, the wide receivers did the drill on Saturday and were unsurprisingly less impressive. While the results of the drill for wide receivers is unlikely to affect their draft stock much, it’s a display of upper body strength that can bode well for a player’s ability to beat press coverage.
2013 NFL combine results: T.J. Moe leads receivers in bench press with 26 reps
The Missouri receiver finished with about as many bench press reps as the average offensive lineman at the 2013 NFL Combine.

If that's the case, then Missouri wide receiver T.J. Moe shouldn't have much of an issue shaking NFL cornerbacks after he managed to put up 26 repetitions of the 225-pound bench press on Saturday. That number would've been near the average for the offensive lineman on Friday.
Other impressive performances included 20 reps from Oregon State's Markus Wheaton despite weighing in at 5'11, 189 pounds and measuring in with very long arms.
