The mark for most repetitions of the 225-pound bench press at the 2013 NFL Combine was tied on Saturday by relatively unknown Wake Forest fullback Tommy Bohanon after he put up 36 reps. Only Ohio offensive lineman Eric Herman matched the mark during his attempt at the drill on Friday.
2013 NFL combine results: Tommy Bohanon leads running backs at bench press
The relatively unknown Wake Forest runner is projected by most to be a fullback in the NFL.

While that number is expected to fall when the defensive lineman take on the drill on Sunday, particularly defensive tackle Jesse Williams, it was the most of the running backs who took on the bench press on Saturday.
Some of the most high-profile players of the running back class did not elect to participate in the bench press on Saturday, including Joseph Randle and Eddie Lacy; however, Giovani Bernard did and finished with 19 reps. That's an underwhelming number compared to Bohanon, but is a respectable amount for a 5'8 running back.
Other notable bench press performances included 31 reps from Arkansas's Knile Davis and 27 from Vanderbilt's Zach Stacy.
