It's been a long weekend for Manti Te'o.
2013 NFL Combine: Manti Te’o insists he will improve his 40-yard dash time
Te’o attributed his poor time to exhaustion and says he will improve at Notre Dame’s pro day in March.

The former Notre Dame linebacker kicked off his trip to Indianapolis with a media session that was as heavily attended as any in the four days of media availability. There, he was posed with questions about the scandal involving his fake girlfriend and poor play in the National Championship Game. He then spent time with 20 NFL teams, where he was likely asked a lot of the same questions.
By Monday, Te’o was understandably exhausted, and said that may have contributed to his poor showing in the 40-yard dash, where he timed at 4.82 seconds.
“Today was just a long, long day,” a clearly fatigued Teo said on NFL Network.
Te’o said he had been running in the 4.5 or 4.6 range in training and will be ready to improve on his times at his pro day. He thought his best showing on the field was in the positional drills.
Among the teams Te’o has met with are the Houston Texans, Green Bay Packers, Baltimore Ravens, Denver Broncos and Cincinnati Bengals. Te’o mentioned that teams have had him on the board, breaking down film and various plays, an area that he believes is a big strength of his.
Notre Dame’s pro day is scheduled for March 26.
