The Jaguars have the second overall pick in the 2013 NFL Draft and are in need of a quarterback. The latest mock draft from SB Nation's Matthew Fairburn has the Jags selecting Smith with the No. 2 pick. Bradley, offensive coordinator Jedd Fisch and general manager David Caldwell all went to watch Smith work out during his Pro Day, showing the Jags are seriously considering the QB.
While there, Bradley had a chance to sit down with Smith. The coach said he wanted to see if Smith was a leader and test his competitiveness. At the NFL owners’ meeting in Phoenix on Tuesday, Bradley discussed the meeting with the media. “We had a great talk. I was very impressed with him. I had high expectations but I think I came out there feeling even better,” Bradley said.
