The Buffalo Bills will have West Virginia quarterback prospect Geno Smith work out privately Friday, according to a report from Chris Brown of the team's official web site.
NFL Draft 2013: Bills schedule private workout with Geno Smith
Geno Smith will have Buffalo’s full attention on Friday.

Brown notes that, at West Virginia’s pro day last week, Smith mentioned having the Bills penciled in on his calendar for “something” on Friday, March 22, and that a private workout with the team is definitely going to be that something.
Smith alludes to this in Brown's report, but the quarterback -- ranked 18th overall on SB Nation's big board of 200 prospects and widely considered the 2013 NFL Draft's top signal-caller -- will probably go through more than a few of these private workouts with interested teams. The Philadelphia Eagles have already conducted their own, for example.
In his latest mock, SB Nation's Matthew Fairburn doesn't think Smith will go past the Jacksonville Jaguars and their second overall pick.
Another important point raised by Brown: Private workouts are not pre-draft visits. The latter are held at official NFL team sites and limited to 30 per franchise, whereas private workouts cannot be hosted by NFL teams, instead typically taking place at a venue closer to either the prospect’s hometown or college.
