NFL Draft 2013: Mike Glennon attracts Cardinals decision makers

GM Steve Keim and assistant coach Tom Moore will be on hand in Raleigh, N.C., to watch Glennon’s workout in person. Head coach Bruce Arians will not be attending.

Glennon has long been linked to the Cardinals as a possible destination, and this workout confirms Arizona’s interest. Arians is installing a vertical passing offense that requires a deep arm to execute, and Glennon has one of the best arms in this year’s draft class.

He’s also prone to extreme stretches of inconsistency, going hot and cold from one play to the next. His streakiness is the primary reason he may not be drafted in the first round, but if Arizona has their heart set on him, he should be there for the taking at the top of the second.
