Draft analysis is more than underway, but NFL Insider Adam Caplan and NFL Films senior producer Greg Cosell filmed a quality segment on this year’s crop of defensive tackles, which Cosell says features possibly the best athletes ever at the position in one draft.

Here’s a rundown into some of their other insights:
-- They begin with Florida's Sharrif Floyd, calling him one of the draft's best defensive linemen overall and Cosell, going further, saying he's arguably the best player in the draft. Additionally, he's the first defensive lineman to go off the board -- at No. 3 overall to the Oakland Raiders -- in Dan Kadar's latest mock draft for SB Nation.
-- Next they went to Utah’s Star Lotulelei, who they believe is more versatile than your average run-stuffing defensive tackle, adding that he could line up in several different spots along a defensive line in the NFL.
-- Sheldon Richardson of the Missouri Tigers came up next, another player who Cosell believes perfectly emphasizes the amount of talented, multifaceted and incredibly athletic for their size defensive tackles in this year's draft. The clip they use of Richardson working out at the NFL Combine certainly illustrates that. Alabama's Jesse Williams was also mentioned in this category.
-- A lesser talked-about prospect, Ohio State's Johnathan Hankins also impressed Cosell due to his quickness compared to his size. Hankins and players such as Sylvester Williams out of North Carolina and Purdue's Kawann Short, whom Cosell remarked was one of the most frustrating players to watch on film due to his on-and-off effort, lacked the consistency of some of the other top-tier players at the position.
