Auburn pro day results: Onterio McCalebb runs a 4.29 40-yard dash

Onterio McCalebb lit up Auburn’s Pro Day on Tuesday, running a 4.29 in the 40-yard dash. Defensive end Corey Lemonier and tight end Philip Lutzenkirchen were much quieter, however.

The Auburn Tigers held their 2013 Pro Day on Tuesday, and all eyes were on running back Onterio McCalebb to see how he would follow up his blistering 4.34 in the 40-yard dash at the NFL Combine. He did not disappoint, running an unofficial 4.29, according to the athletic department. He also added a 37" vertical, 10'1 broad jump and 10 reps of 225 pounds in the bench press to his resume.

Defensive end Corey Lemonier opted not to try to improve on his already impressive 4.60 40-yard dash from the combine. He sat out testing except to post a respectable 34" vertical jump and run through position drills. The Tigers' other combine participant, tight end Philip Lutzenkirchen, unfortunately did not improve his 40 time, clocking in at an unofficial 4.96 after going 4.94 in Indianapolis. He posted a 32" vertical jump, but did not bench after putting up 21 reps in Indy.

Among the Tigers' non-combine invites, wide receiver Emory Blake did a lot to improve his draft status. The 6'3 senior ran a 4.62 for his unofficial 40 time, adding a 36.5" vertical and a 10' broad jump. His dad, former NFL quarterback Jeff Blake, reportedly threw to his son during drills.

Right guard John Sullen had a rough day, reportedly completing just three reps on the bench press. Cornerback T'Sharvan Bell had a chance to show off his quickness, finishing third in the short shuttle at 6.93 seconds. Unfortunately, he wasn't able to crack into the top five 40 times of the day.
