It's now April and we're still no closer to knowing the best position for Barrett Jones in the NFL. Is that such a bad thing? Jones doesn't think so. Here's what he said about it at the NFL Combine last month:
2013 NFL Draft center rankings

“When you play a lot of positions, it allows you to learn the offense from different perspectives. You stop memorizing the offense and start understanding it. That’s the biggest reason playing center mentally wasn’t that big a challenge. I understood the offense and what we were trying to accomplish.”
That’s the zen of being an offensive lineman. Jones may not be a center in the NFL, but we think he can be a good one. Because of that, he remains our top-rated player at the position.
