NFL Draft 2013: Lane Johnson visits Cardinals
The former Oklahoma right tackle is in Phoenix to meet with the Cardinals this week, and would be a logical pick for the team at seventh overall.

The Cardinals had probably the worst offensive line in the NFL in 2012, so it’s no surprise that they’re taking some time with Johnson. They allowed an NFL-most 58 sacks, and also allowed 97 quarterback hits. There are multiple need areas on the roster, but offensive line may be the biggest.
Johnson is a former high school quarterback, but moved to tight end before eventually ending up as a right tackle at Oklahoma. There are some questions as to what Johnson's best position on the line will be at the NFL level, but he has the athleticism and versatility to play several positions on the offensive line. Johnson would be a logical pick for the Cardinals if both Luke Joeckel and Eric Fisher are off the board by the time they pick at seventh overall.
