Central Michigan offensive tackle Eric Fisher is willing to move over to right tackle to start his NFL career if he is asked. Fisher will be one of the first players selected in the 2013 NFL Draft and could even be the No. 1 overall pick.

Top draft prospect Eric Fisher said he is willing and capable of starting his NFL career at right tackle.


Fisher said that although he played left tackle throughout college, he is very versatile and capable of playing anywhere along the offensive line. “As a rookie if I had to come in and play right tackle I’d have no problem with that,” he said in an interview with Danny Parkins on KCSP in Kansas City.
The No. 4 ranked overall draft prospect on the Mocking the Draft big board, Fisher is projected to go to the Detroit Lions with the No. 5 pick in the 2013 NFL Draft in the latest mock draft from Matthew Fairburn. He is considered one of the few options the Chiefs are considering with the top pick in the draft along with tackle Luke Joeckel and linebacker/defensive end Dion Jordan.
