LSU safety Eric Reid is working his way up boards around the league as the 2013 NFL Draft approaches, according to NFL.com's Bucky Brooks. Reid was considered one of the top defensive players in the country after his sophomore season, but regressed his junior year, hurting his draft stock. NFL Draft 2013: Eric Reid rising up draft boards
The draft stock of Eric Reid soured for a bit, but now the athletic safety is gaining momentum once again.

And the Valley Shook claims Reid got caught trying to play "hero ball" in 2012, but his athleticism has never been in question. It is his athleticism, combined with NFL size, and football intelligence that has teams gaining more interest in Reid.
Reid is the No. 5-ranked safety among the draft prospects and No. 41-ranked prospect overall according to Mocking the Draft, but at NFL.com, Brooks believes Reid has the skills to become a star as early as his rookie season. With increase in balls thrown deep and down the middle of the field, Reid’s skills as a centerfielder could make him one of the steals of the draft.
