If recent tests are to be believed, Utah's Star Lotulelei should once again rise to be one of the elite prospects in the 2013 NFL Draft after medical exams in Utah showed the defensive tackle's heart to function in a normal range, according to Lya Wodraska of The Salt Lake Tribune.
NFL Draft 2013: Star Lotulelei has ‘no evidence’ of heart dysfunction
Lotulelei previously withdrew from the 2013 NFL Combine after tests showed his left ventricle pumping at 44 percent efficiency.

Lotulelei, 23, did not participate in drills at the 2013 NFL Combine after tests showed that his left ventricle was pumping at 44 percent efficiency, compared to the normal rate of 55-70 percent.
Before the Combine, Lotulelei was considered a candidate to be the top selection in the 2013 NFL Draft and sat atop many draft rankings; however, he fell out of the top 10 in many mock drafts due to the test results. While NFL teams will presumably trust their own doctors, if the test results are the same and he is truly cleared as a player with no long-term risk, his stock could return to where it once was.
However, since his test at the Combine, Florida's Sharrif Floyd and Missouri's Sheldon Richardson have emerged as top prospects. Even healthy, Lotulelei may wind up fitting into the draft somewhere behind one of them, as he did in the latest mock draft from SB Nation's Dan Kadar.
