NFL Draft 2013: Tavon Austin visits 49ers, Rams among others
Tavon Austin will visit with the 49ers, Rams, Browns, Bengals, and possibly more in the coming weeks before the 2013 NFL Draft. What makes the speedy wideout so special?

Two of those teams may not have a chance to take Austin, if SB Nation's latest mock draft is any indication. He is projected to go No. 17 overall to the Pittsburgh Steelers, four spots ahead of the Bengals and 14 spots ahead of the 49ers. The Browns would likely be able to nab Austin at No. 6 overall, however, and the Rams have their first of two first round picks at No. 16 overall.
Austin has climbed up draft boards thanks to an impressive workout at the 2013 NFL Combine in February. He finished second behind Marquise Goodwin at his position with a 4.34 in the 40-yard dash in Indianapolis. All four teams have a need at slot receiver, and the 5'9 Austin is regarded by many as the best in his class, possessing underrated toughness and added value as a kick returner.
