The Dallas Cowboys have made North Carolina guard Jonathan Cooper one of their top targets with the No. 18 pick in the 2013 NFL Draft according to Tony Pauline of Draft Insider. The Cowboys have already brought in Cooper for a visit and he would fill a position of need should Dallas select him in the draft.
NFL Draft 2013: Cowboys target guard Jonathan Cooper in 1st round
The Dallas Cowboys have targeted guard Jonathan Cooper as a possible first round selection in the 2013 NFL Draft.

In their latest mock, Mocking the Draft has the Cowboys selecting defensive tackle Sheldon Richardson out of Missouri in the first round with Cooper going two spots later to the Chicago Bears. With Dallas transitioning back to a 4-3 defense, Richardson would make sense as a first-round selection if he were available. But offensive line remains the Cowboys biggest need and Cooper would go a long way to help open holes in the running game and protect Tony Romo.
Pauline also reports that the Cowboys are targeting Stanford running back Stepfan Taylor with their third-round pick (No. 80 overall) should he be available.
