NFL Draft 2013: 49ers reportedly want to trade up to 13th or 14th pick
With 13 picks in the 2013 NFL Draft, San Francisco is looking to move up higher in the first round.

The 49ers don't have room for 13 rookies on their roster, leading to the expectation that they will trade up and/or trade for picks in future years. San Francisco is looking to add a defensive end they can groom to replace Justin Smith, a safety to replace the departed Dashon Goldson, a cornerback and a backup tight end in the draft.
The Jets and Panthers currently hold the No. 13 and No. 14 picks, respectively. The latest SB Nation mock draft has the Jets selecting LSU outside linebacker Barkevious Mingo and the Panthers picking Missouri defensive tackle Sheldon Richardson in those spots.
San Francisco currently holds the No. 31, No. 34, No. 61, No. 74, No. 93, No. 128, No. 131, No. 157, No. 173, No. 180, No. 237, No. 246 and No. 252 picks in the 2013 NFL Draft.
