Jacksonville Jaguars general manager Dave Caldwell and head coach Gus Bradley addressed the media in a pre-draft conference. Caldwell didn't tip his hand as to the Jaguars' draft intentions, but he did say he would be "surprised" if the team trades down from the No. 2 pick.
2013 NFL Draft trade rumors: Jaguars plan to take ‘best available player’ at No. 2, says GM
Rumors are swirling around what the Jaguars plan to do with the No. 2 pick. Dave Caldwell shined a little bit of light on the situation.

When asked about his front office's draft philosophy, Caldwell stated they would go with "the best available that fits a need." He went on to say that he values building the offensive and defensive sides, and the presence of Eugene Monroe won't preclude him from drafting a left tackle. He also confirmed that the team removed about 10-12 players from their board due to character concerns.
This doesn’t tell us much about what direction the Jaguars will go on Thursday, but in a week where everyone is holding their cards close, it’s about as close to a straight answer as we will get. You can probably rule out Jacksonville trading their pick.
Draft experts are all over the map on Jacksonville's pick, from Dion Jordan to Geno Smith to Eric Fisher to Ezekiel Ansah. Currently, Mocking The Draft's Dan Kadar has them taking Jordan.
