2013 NFL Draft news: Barkevious Mingo, Dee Milliner among those making visits

Plenty of top players are on the move on Monday, making visits in advance of the 2013 NFL Draft, including Barkevious Mingo, Dee Milliner and DeAndre Hopkins.

USA TODAY Sports

With the 2013 NFL Draft just a couple weeks away, there are plenty of visits going on around the NFL. Teams will begin to exhaust all of their official visits as the draft approaches, and plenty of potential first-round picks were on the move on Monday. Below, we track some of the more important movement.

Mingo makes top 10 visits

LSU Tigers defensive end/outside linebacker Barkevious Mingo is hoping to be drafted in the top ten picks when the 2013 NFL Draft rolls around. On Monday, Dave Birkett of the Detroit Free Press reported that Mingo would be visiting the Buffalo Bills and Cleveland Browns this week and the Carolina Panthers next week.

Warmack, Milliner visit Detroit

Alabama guard Chance Warmack is one of the top prospects at the position, but most feel he won't be a top pick. That said, he visited with the Detroit Lions on Monday, according to Tim Twentyman on Twitter. Detroit holds the No. 5 pick in the draft, which seems like a reach for Warmack but another player who visited on Monday, cornerback Dee Milliner, would definitely make sense there. Perhaps the Lions are after Milliner, but would trade down for Warmack if Milliner is gone?

QBs on the move, as usual

Plenty of quarterbacks are making visits as of late. Miami (OH) quarterback Zac Dysert is visiting with the Denver Broncos, according to Josh Norris on Twitter. Denver could be in the market for a backup quarterback. Syracuse quarterback Ryan Nassib took a visit with the Buffalo Bills on Saturday, according to Adam Schefter. Nassib has a lot of familiarity with Doug Marrone, Buffalo's coach, as he came from Syracuse himself.

Floyd, Jordan making the rounds

Florida defensive lineman Sharrif Floyd could go in the top three picks of the draft, but according to Ian Rapoport on Twitter, he's visiting with the Cleveland Browns on Monday. Cleveland picks at No. 6 and it would be tough for them to pass up on Floyd, even with the talent they have on their defensive front. Oregon LB Dion Jordan also figures to go high, possibly in the top ten, but he's visiting with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on Monday and Tuesday, also according to Rapoport on Twitter.

Hopkins visits Carolina

Clemson wide receiver DeAndre Hopkins figures to be a first-round selection, and is definitely one of the top players at his position. Most feel it's a pretty close race between him, Keenan Allen and Tavon Austin. He's scheduled to visit the Carolina Panthers on Monday, according to Steve Reed on Twitter. Carolina holds the No. 14 pick in the first round and Hopkins seems to make sense there.

Fluker on the rise

Alabama offensive tackle D.J. Fluker is definitely on the rise. On Monday, ESPN's Chris Mortensen called Fluker "one of (the) true rising players" in the draft. Then, Tony Pauline of DraftInsider.net suggested that the Miami Dolphins would consider Fluker for their first-round pick at No. 12.
