How an NFL Draft website ranks cornerbacks varies greatly from how and NFL team stacks its board. Sites have to include everyone. Teams can cater their board to the scheme they run. The way the board falls for a zone team differs from a board from a man coverage team.
2013 NFL Draft cornerback rankings

Each year, about 35 to 40 cornerbacks are selected in the draft. This year we have 35 corners rated. While there are some that will be drafted that we missed, many of these players are the same you’ve seen here throughout the year.
In our final cornerback rankings for the 2013 NFL Draft, Alabama’s Dee Milliner remains on the top. He’s the most complete corner in the draft and could be a top 10 pick. The depth after Milliner is impressive. Xavier Rhodes and Desmond Trufant are likely first-round picks, and Jamar Taylor of Boise State could be as well.
We rank Rutgers’ Logan Ryan and Mississippi State’s Johnthan Banks higher than Taylor, though. Their timing numbers weren’t very good, but Ryan and Banks are playings that should excel in zone systems.
