Bad teams are still bad. The top six picks in the 2015 NFL Draft order remain unchanged from a week ago, led by the Oakland Raiders, holders of the No. 1 pick.

Dropping to 0-8 with Sunday’s loss against the Seattle Seahawks, you have to wonder if Oakland will win a game all season. The Raiders, who are rolling with rookie quarterback Derek Carr and replacement head coach Tony Sparano, only play one team currently with a losing record the rest of the season. Oakland’s final eight opponents have a combined 39-26 record. They could be the first team since the Detroit Lions in 2008 to go winless.
How much does a win matter in the draft order? St. Louis was at No. 7 last week. After beating the San Francisco 49ers on Sunday, the Rams only move down two spots to No. 9. How much does a loss matter? Last week, the Carolina Panthers were a playoff team coming out of the wretched NFC South. After losing on Sunday, the Panthers are now scheduled to pick 11th.
One notable this week is the Chicago Bears. Current holders of the No. 7 pick, Chicago hasn’t picked in the top 10 since 2005 when it selected running back Cedric Benson. The Bears have been on a never-ending quest to find a safety. A top 10 pick would likely give them access to Alabama safety Landon Collins.
If teams in the draft order have the same record and strength of schedule, division record is used if they’re in the same division. If those are all equal, conference record is used if they’re in the same conference. If teams in two difference conferences have the same record and strength of schedule, draft order is determined by a coin flip at the NFL Scouting Combine.
