Among 2014 NFL Draft middle linebackers, it’s C.J. Mosley and everyone else. The gap between Mosley and the next best middle linebacker is greater than any other No. 1 to No. 2 player in a position this year.

It’s C.J. Mosley and everyone else.
Mosley is an instinctual linebacker who knows when to work around block and when to go through them. Mosley is nearly a complete package at linebacker. In addition to his instincts, he’s a good athlete and a sound tackler.
The rest of the middle linebacker group this year is a mixed bag. Shayne Skov of Stanford has the instincts but isn’t overly athletic. Chris Borland of Wisconsin is a good all-around package, but some will discount him because of his size.
