The Super Bowl is in New Orleans this year, in the Super Dome.
San Francisco knocked off top-seeded Atlanta to win the NFC title on Sunday afternoon. In five trips to the Super Bowl in franchise history, the 49ers have never lost. The same can be said for the Baltimore Ravens, but that team has just one trip. The Patriots dynasty of the last decade has seen that team win three Super Bowls in a total of five trips since Jan. 2002. New England lost to the Giants last year.
