The San Francisco 49ers arrived in New Orleans on Sunday evening.
Super Bowl XLVII: Joe Staley on Bourbon Street, avoiding distractions
San Francisco 49ers left tackle Joe Staley spoke to the media on Sunday night. We discuss his comments on avoiding distractions this week.

With Super Bowl XLVII being held in the biggest party city in the nation, there are some concerns regarding distractions. According to Greg Rosenthal of NFL.com, the 49ers' hotel is only two blocks away from Bourbon Street. Harrah's Casino is also only a few blocks in the other direction.
Rosenthal spoke with 49ers left tackle Joe Staley about avoiding distractions this week.

"We've addressed it," Staley said, via NFL.com. "We talked about what's expected when we came down here." He confirmed that the 49ers received a "heads up on the lay of the land."
The team that is more focused this week will probably be the team that takes home the Lombardi Trophy. San Francisco has a younger team than Baltimore, and that could work against them in this respect. Rosenthal also reported that the 49ers would not have a curfew the first two nights.
Staley acknowledged that curfew begins on Tuesday night.
However, if the team is looking for some fresh air during the week, there is a nice touristy area within walking distance in the French Quarter.
