It’s time to figure out your Survivor picks for the 2025 season. We’ll break down safe, value, and trap picks heading into Week 7.

The NFL is headed into Week 7 and Survivor pools took a couple big hits last week. The Giants opened the week with a rather stunning upset of the Eagles on Thursday Night Football. Divisional games can always be wild, and Philly hasn’t exactly been that impressive this season, but New York controlled the game in the second half in a 34-17 win. The week closed with the Falcons stunning the Bills on Monday Night Football.

The Week 7 slate features a heavy slate of important matchups. The Rams and Jaguars square off with 4-2 records, the 4-2 Eagles head to face the 3-2 Vikings, the 4-2 Chargers host the 5-1 Colts, and the 4-2 Lions close the week with a Monday Night Football matchup against the 5-1 Bucs. Nothing will be decided in the bigger picture just yet, but these all will impact the conference playoff standings midway through October.

We’re back for another week of Survivor picks with some safe, value, and trap picks. Last week, I almost got the trap pick right with the Broncos barely holding off the Jets in London. Looking back, that Eagles-Giants game fit as a trap pick, but what are you gonna do?

On to Week 7 picks!

Safest picks

Chiefs over Raiders

Divisional games are always tough to pick, but the Raiders are pretty bad. An upset wouldn’t be entirely shocking, but I really don’t see it happening. I might use the Chiefs in a contest where I have several entries, but I’m inclined to save them in one-off contests.

Best value picks

Patriots over Titans

The Patriots have quietly been impressing and now sit atop the AFC East. They are traveling to Nashville, but that doesn’t make the Titans much of a better choice. With an interim coach in place, Tennessee could make things interesting. However, they generally stink, so it’s fine to continue picking against them most weeks.

Trap picks

Broncos over Giants

I might need a fourth category. This game feels like a potential trap but also a potentially great option. The Broncos are coming off an ugly win over the Jets in London. The only reason I see this as a trap game is they’re in an odd week coming off a long trip back to Denver from London. Jaxson Dart is a huge question mark and has to travel to Mile High and I think it could be trouble for him.
