The Tampa Bay Buccaneers got wide receiver Mike Evans back for Monday night’s game against the Detroit Lions after the veteran missed three games with a hamstring injury.

But after a play in the second quarter against the Lions, Evans landed awkwardly after being targeted by Baker Mayfield on a deep throw down the field, and the veteran wide receiver stayed down on the turf for an extended period.

After being looked at by trainers for a significant period of time, Evans was helped up by medical personnel and walked off the field awkwardly, with his arm around one of the trainers.

Here is a look at the play where Evans went down against the Lions:

Lisa Salters on ESPN indicated that trainers were looking at one of his shoulders, and he was taken to the locker room on a cart.

Update: The team reported that Evans is now out for the rest of the game with a concussion as well as a shoulder injury:

Update: After the game, Tampa Bay head coach Todd Bowles announced that Evans suffered a broken collarbone and will miss “most” of the rest of the season:

This is a developing story and will be updated.
