The Atlanta Falcons will be without two of their young offensive stars when they take on the Miami Dolphins today at Mercedes-Benz Stadium.

Starting quarterback Michael Penix Jr. was previously ruled out by the Falcons, as the young passer deals with a bone bruise in his knee. Veteran Kirk Cousins will get the start today for Atlanta, making his first start in over ten months since the Falcons turned to Penix last season.

However, Cousins will be without Drake London in the passing game. The wide receiver appeared on the Falcons’ injury report on Saturday with a hip injury, calling into question his status for Sunday’s game. The Falcons planned on evaluating London on Sunday before kickoff, hoping that the hip would be good enough for the WR to give it a go against Miami.

The results of that evaluation seem to have gone against London, as the team just designated the receiver as inactive for Sunday’s game against the Dolphins.

London has been Atlanta’s leading receiver this year, catching 38 passes on 63 targets for 469 yards and a pair of touchdowns.
