We will be tracking all the moves ahead of the deadline here. Follow along to see what teams are loading up for a playoff push, and what teams are already thinking about the 2026 NFL Draft.
For grades on the deals, we have you covered here.
November 4 - Deadline Day
Quinnen Williams is headed to Dallas
A fire sale is underway in New York.
Hours after trading CB Sauce Gardner to the Indianapolis Colts, the New York Jets traded defensive tackle Quinnen Williams to the Dallas Cowboys in exchange for a 2026 first-round pick “and more.” Specifically, the Jets are acquiring at 2026 second-round pick, a 2027 first-round pick, and defensive tackle Mazi Smith.
For Dallas, this is more help for their beleaguered defense after the Logan Wilson trade earlier in the day. For the Jets, this is yet more draft capital as they look to the future.
EDGE Joe Tryon-Shoyinka to the Bears
After losing pass rusher Dayo Odeyingbo to a season-ending Achilles injury last Sunday, the Bears are getting some help on the edge. Cleveland is sending Joe Tryon-Shoyinka and a seventh-round pick to Chicago in exchange for a sixth-round pick.
WR Rashid Shaheed to the Seahawks
Last week ESPN’s Adam Schefter noted that several teams were looking into wide receivers, mentioning the Steelers, the Bills, and Broncos.
Perhaps the Seahawks could have been included on that list.
The New Orleans Saints are sending Rashid Shaheed to Seattle, pairing the speedy WR with former offensive coordinator Klint Kubiak.
CB Sauce Gardner to the Colts
We might have our first true blockbuster of the 2025 NFL trade deadline.
The Indianapolis Colts, despite their loss to the Pittsburgh Steelers in Week 9, might be the biggest surprise of the season. They enter Week 10 with a 7-2 record, tops in both the AFC South and the conference overall. And they swung big today, securing cornerback Sauce Gardner in a trade with the New York Jets.
According to Adam Schefter, Indianapolis is sending a pair of first-round pick to New York in the trade.
WR Jakobi Meyers traded to the Jaguars
After he requested a trade, the Las Vegas Raiders are giving Jakobi Meyers his wish.
Las Vegas traded the wide receiver to the Jacksonville Jaguars in exchange for a fourth- and a sixth-round pick. Jacksonville has two fourth-round selections, and the higher of those two picks will head to the Raiders.
With Travis Hunter Jr. on IR due to a knee injury suffered in practice, the Jaguars had a need in the WR room.
Bengals trade LB Logan Wilson to Cowboys
Some defensive help is on the way for Dallas.
Yesterday, owner Jerry Jones indicated that the team had made a deal, the Cowboys lost on Monday Night Football, and then the deal was apparently finalized this morning. Linebacker Logan Wilson, after seeing his snaps decrease in Cincinnati, is on his way to Dallas.
While the full compensation has not been released, the Bengals have been seeking a sixth-round pick for Wilson, who requested a trade earlier this season. Update: According to Ian Rapoport it is a seventh-round pick for Wilson.
November 3
Titans trade Dre’Mont Jones to Ravens
The Baltimore Ravens are adding a pass rusher.
The Ravens have traded for EDGE Dre’Mont Jones, sending a conditional fifth-round pick to the Tennessee Titans for the defender. Jones has 4.5 sacks this year on the season and is on something of a hot streak, recording at least one sack in each of Tennessee’s four previous games.
Dolphins trade EDGE Jaelan Phillips to the Eagles
Howie Roseman is absolutely not done trying to improve the defense in Philadelphia.
After being linked to several pass rushers, including Myles Garrett, Roseman lands Jaelan Phillips in a trade, acquiring the pass rusher from the Miami Dolphins in exchange for a 2026 third-round pick. The move reunites Phillips with Vic Fangio, who was his defensive coordinator during the 2023 season. That year, Phillips had 6.5 sacks in just eight games, before his season ended due to a torn Achilles.
As for the Dolphins, after parting ways with general manager Chris Grier, this might be the first sign that the philosophy is going to change in Miami, and the team will start thinking about 2026 and beyond under interim GM Champ Kelly.
November 1
Ravens trade CB Jaire Alexander to Eagles
Two days after trading for a cornerback, the Philadelphia Eagles added another option in the secondary.
Howie Roseman sent a 2026 sixth-round pick to the Baltimore Ravens in exchange for veteran cornerback Jaire Alexander. The cornerback signed with the Ravens in June, but has played in just two games this season.
October 29
Jets trade CB Michael Carter to Eagles for WR John Metchie III
The Philadelphia Eagles pulled off a trade to add another option in the secondary, sending WR John Metchie III and a 2027 sixth-round pick to the New York Jets for cornerback Michael Carter II and a 2027 seventh-round pick.
Philadelphia has two standout young cornerbacks with Quinyon Mitchell on the outside and Cooper DeJean in the slot, but are looking for an upgrade across from Mitchell. Adoree’ Jackson and Kelee Ringo have manned that spot so far this season, but Carter could slide into the slot while DeJean moves outside.
October 28
Patriots trade S Kyle Dugger to Steelers
The New England Patriots are trading safety Kyle Dugger and a seventh-round pick to the Pittsburgh Steelers in exchange for a sixth-round pick.
New England signed Dugger to a four-year contract extension worth up to $58 million in April of 2024, but the safety has struggled to fit into the adjusted defensive scheme under head coach Mike Vrabel.
Pittsburgh lost safety DeShon Elliott to a leg injury in last Sunday’s loss to the Green Bay Packers, and the injury could keep Elliott sidelined for the rest of the season.
Patriots trade EDGE Keion White to 49ers
The Dugger trade was not the only deal that New England made on Tuesday. The Patriots also sent pass rusher Keion White to the San Francisco 49ers along with a 2026 seventh-round pick in exchange for a 2026 sixth-round pick.
White had five sacks last season, and the 49ers desperately needed help up front after losing Nick Bosa for the season with a knee injury.
October 27
Titans trade CB Roger McCreary to Rams
The Tennessee Titans have begun retooling for next season, sending cornerback Roger McCreary to the Los Angeles Rams.
Tennessee will receive a conditional 2026 fifth-round pick in the deal, while the Rams will receive a conditional 2026 sixth-round pick along with the cornerback. According to ESPN’s Adam Schefter, the Titans will receive the Rams’ earliest fifth-round pick (which is likely to be the pick the Titans sent Los Angeles in a trade for Ernest Jones in August of 2024).
The Rams currently have three sixth-round picks in 2026, and the least favorable of those will go to the Titans as part of this deal. At the moment, that is Los Angeles’ own selection in the sixth round (as the Rams also have sixth-round picks thanks to deals with the Jets and the Texans).
