We’ve made it past Daylight Savings Time and the holiday season is fast approaching. The NFL heads into Week 10 coming off of two significant upsets last week. The Panthers shocked the Packers at Lambeau, while the Steelers upset the Colts at home. The Panthers upset was a huge shocker for Survivor pools, with Green Bay among the bigger picks for a lot of pools. The Steelers win wasn’t shocking, but Daniel Jones did look like his old self against a tough Steelers squad. It makes you wonder how safe a pick they are moving forward, even against significantly lesser opponents.

The Rams were the big pick last week, as heavy favorites against the Saints, and they took care of business. This week, the big play will likely be the Broncos over the Raiders on Thursday Night Football. Seahawks over Cardinals and Bills over Dolphins will both also get some love. The Lions will get some picks against the Commanders, but in a lot of pools they were already used up.

On to my Week 10 picks!

Safest picks

Lions over Commanders
Bills over Dolphins

These are two road games, but now that we’re into double digit weeks, we can’t be so picky. These are two of the three biggest favorites this week. Both have value later in the season, so they’re not value options, but their opponents offer a great opportunity if you are ready to play Detroit or Buffalo and haven’t already done so.

Best value picks

Broncos over Raiders

The Broncos on a short week against a division rival is a red flag. That being said, this is probably the last week you’d use them this season. Denver has been questionable at times, but they are 7-2 and a home game against a bad Raiders squad offers value.

Trap picks

Colts over Falcons
Seahawks over Cardinals

I had Colts-Falcons as a value pick, but I’m having second thoughts. They’re a near touchdown favorite against a really shaky Falcons squad, and yet I find myself wondering if Daniel Jones is turning back into a pumpkin.

As for Seahawks-Cardinals? NFC West matchups are never normal games, so I would stear clear of a game Seattle should win.
