Week 5 NFL Scores And Results: Colts Pull Away Late, Beat Chiefs, 19-9

QB Peyton Manning was not about to lose two consecutive games, right? Certainly not to the NFL’s final undefeated team which many were saying was due for a loss.

The earth is now spinning on its axis again, as Kansas City suffered their first loss of the season, and Indianapolis returned to their winning ways after their stunning loss to Jacksonville last week.

Manning still put up solid numbers, completing 26 of 44 passes for 244 yards. RB Mike Hart had the only touchdown of the day, an 11-yard run. WR Reggie Wayne caught 6 balls for 75 yards.

Kansas City out-rushed Indianapolis to the tune of 113-97 yards. Still, Colts managed to win the time of possession battle and control the clock, possessing the ball for 34:25.
