Week 5 NFL Scores And Results: Giants Pummel Texans, 34-10

Don’t look now, but the New York Giants may be returning to form after a lackluster start to the season. Today, the team pulled out a huge victory on the road in Houston, and proved they are, indeed, a force to be reckoned with. While Texans showed why they rank dead last in NFL in defending against the pass.

The box score told the story of this game, as Giants out-yarded Texans 414-195. They controlled the entire game by possessing the ball 38:51, a tough feat to accomplish on the road, for sure.

QB Eli Manning completed 27 of 42 passes for 297 yards and 3 TDs, but also threw two interceptions. His counterpart, QB Matt Schaub, struggled. Schaub completed 16 of 34 passes for 196 yards and 1 INT.

WR Hakeem Nicks has a big day, catching 12 balls for 130 yards and 2 TDs against the porous Texans defense.
