With the second half underway, the Baltimore Ravens have used a Tom Brady error to secure a 17-7 lead over the New England Patriots.
NFL Week 6, Patriots Vs. Ravens: Brady INT Sets Up Boldin TD
On the opening possession of the second half, Brady lofted a pass down the center of the field in the face of a blitz. The pass was intercepted by Ravens cornerback Chris Carr, giving the Ravens the ball at New England’s 36-yard line.
Baltimore capitalized on Brady’s first mistake of the day when Joe Flacco lofted a beautiful pass down the left sideline, which Anquan Boldin caught for a 25-yard score. Patriots cornerback Kyle Arrington was flagged for pass interference on the play, though the penalty was obviously denied.
Brady and the Patriots continue to struggle offensively, as they’re having trouble running the football and without a deep threat on the field (Brandon Tate is still without a catch), the Ravens have been able to defend New England’s short passing game with ease.
