NFL Week 6, Patriots Vs. Ravens: Deion Branch Cuts Ravens Lead To 3

Deion Branch has scored a touchdown in his first game back with the New England Patriots, hauling in a five-yard touchdown pass from Tom Brady to cut the Baltimore Ravens’ lead to 20-17 in the fourth quarter at Gillette Stadium.

Getting significant playing time after being acquired via trade from the Seattle Seahawks after the Randy Moss trade, Branch now has three receptions for 28 yards and the touchdown in this game.

New England’s scoring drive was set up first and foremost by a Billy Cundiff kickoff that went out of bounds, giving the Patriots the ball at their 40-yard line. A pass interference penalty on Lardarius Webb gave New England some key yardage, and Danny Woodhead gained 26 yards on two runs to get the Pats into scoring range.

With 11 minutes remaining in the game, this contest appears as if it will go down to the wire.
