Week 6 NFL Scores And Results: Deion Branch Keys Patriots’ 23-20 OT Win Over Baltimore
Branch caught nine passes for 98 yards and Brady’s only touchdown reception on the day, making several huge plays in the second half as New England erased a 17-7 third-quarter deficit. Brady, who threw for 292 yards and two interceptions on the day, found Branch twice for 39 yards on the decisive overtime drive.
The heroics of New England’s reunited duo erased a solid outing from Joe Flacco, who completed 27 of 35 passes for 285 yards and two scores in defeat. Flacco and the Ravens, however, fizzled out as the game wore on, wasting three possessions in over time and achieving just two first downs on those drives. Ray Rice had 136 total yards on the day, and Todd Heap and Anquan Boldin each hauled in touchdown passes.
Stephen Gostkowski kicked a game-winning 35-yard field goal just past the two minute warning in overtime, as each team possessed the ball three times in the extra session.
