The San Diego Chargers have … ahem … stormed back from their 17-point deficit, down by only three with about four to go. After being unable to find TE Antonio Gates all day, QB Philip Rivers found Gates in the end zone to close the gap. Mike Tolbert barreled in from the one for the Bolts’ second score.

The Chargers went surprise onside kick after the Gates touchdown, and have held the ball for the past 7:20.
Rivers now has 315 yards, while the Chargers’ D has held Brady to only 157. Neither running game has arrived yet, and I don’t know why I feel compelled to keep mentioning that.
Without those four turnovers, San Diego would’ve owned this game. Then again, if New England had taken advantage of those four turnovers, it would’ve been over by halftime.
The Pats had the ball at midfield with two minutes to go and elected to go for it. BenJarvus Green-Ellis found himself accosted in the backfield. The San Diego Chargers now have the ball in New England turf with three timeouts.
