There was no paucity of concern for the long-term status of Brett Favre after the Vikings quarterback was carted off the field at Gillette Stadium after sustaining an injury to his chin in the second half. However, it looks as though the Vikings have dodged a bullet, that is if they truly still believe Brett Favre still gives them a chance to win going forward.
Brett Favre Received Eight Stitches On His Chin, But Said He Is Fine Otherwise
Favre received eight stitches to his chin, but said in post-game comments that he didn’t suffer a concussion, nor was he suffering any lingering effects from the hit. Favre said he is fine going forward and expects that he will continue to start.
