Steelers Vs. Saints: Did Rashard Mendenhall Get In On 2nd Down?
A Ben Roethlisberger touchdown pass to Antwaan Randle El was overturned on review and ruled be just short of the Saints’ goal line. With running plays, the Steelers were unable to score a touchdown, but on the second one, it appeared that Rashard Mendenhall broke the plane of the goal line.
The Steelers declined to challenge the call on the field, which was ruled just short of the goal line. Mendenhall was stopped on third down and the Steelers settled for a field goal.
So is it possible the Steelers don’t always borderline goal line calls?
