Jay Cutler was sacked a record nine times in the first half in their 17-3 loss to the Giants.
With Todd Collins Out, Pressure’s On Jay Cutler To Come Back From Concussion
The final sack came late in the first half and it knocked Cutler out of the game with a concussion.
His replacement, Todd Collins, was later knocked out of the game himself leaving the Bears down to their third quarterback, Caleb Hanie.
Concussions are generally 1-2 week recovery times so it's possible Cutler isn't ready next Sunday against the Panthers. That would mean Collins would have to be ready, less they send Hanie out there.
We’ll learn more about Cutler’s concussion as the week goes on but, for now, it’s a potentially bad situation if he can’t go.
