Marshawn Lynch Trade Causes Seahawks To Release Julius Jones

The Seahawks traded for RB Marshawn Lynch on Tuesday giving the Bills a 2011 4th round pick and a conditional pick in 2012.

To make room for Lynch, the Seahawks have reportedly released RB Julius Jones, Pro Football Talk reports.

Jones was inactive in the Seahawks Week 4 game and dressed but did not play in Week 3 so the end to his Seahawks career isn’t a big surprise.
