The Giants could not find the end zone in the first half. The result was only six points.
NFL Week 10, Giants Vs. Cowboys: Third Quarter Update, Jon Kitna Is Averaging 25 Yards Per Pass
They made some adjustments at halftime, and have found ways to beat the Dallas defense, mainly by using Nicks and Manningham to find the seams in the zone. The difference this half, though, is that Manning has been more accurate, and they’ve now put up 20 points.
However, the Giants defense has been terrible in defending against the big play, and they’ve been making QB Jon Kitna appear a lot better than he actually is.
Kitna has completed 13 of 20 passes for 327 yards! An average of 25 yards per pass! WR Dez Bryant leads the way with 3 receptions for 104 yards, and WR Miles Austin has two catches for 68 yards and a touchdown.
Here’s something to ponder. Cowboys have only rushed for 64 yards, yet have 33 points. Giants secondary has been caught with their pants down a couple of times, though, where they were in man coverage without safety help over the top.
