Patriots Vs. Steelers: Shayne Graham Fails To Shank First Field Goal As A Patriot

The Patriots extended their first quarter lead over the Steelers to 10-0 with a 31-yard field goal by Shayne Graham. The kicker is playing his first game since being brought in to replace injured starter Stephen Gostkowski.

Graham had fought to be the Ravens kicker during the preseason but lost out to Billy Cundiff. He was signed for a week to play with the Giants in their Week 6 victory over the Lions.

On the scoring drive, the Patriots drove again inside the Steelers red zone, but what would have been another first down was derailed when BenJarvus Green-Ellis was penalized 15 yards for a chop block. The drive fizzled from there and the Pats were forced to settle for a field goal.
