The Washington Redskins were embarrassed early against the the Eagles as Philly hopped out to a 28-point first quarter lead on Monday Night Football. Surely this caused emotions to be running high as the Eagles, who put up 59 points in the game, didn't let off the gas in the first half.
Eagles Vs. Redskins: Philly Center Says LaRon Landry Spit On Him Twice
According to Eagles center Mike McGlynn, Redskins safety LaRon Landry let his frustration show by spitting on him...twice.
“He got his,” McGlynn said. “We got after him pretty good. The things that he did during the game, spitting on me twice … I don’t have no respect for that. There’s no place for that in our game.”
McGlynn says one came after the Eagles third first quarter touchdown and the second time was later in the game. Landry and his teammate DeAngelo Hall were involved in some trash talking with Eagles WR DeSean Jackson that led to a pre-game skirmish.
