Today, QB Aaron Rodgers showed the Packers organization that they made the right decision in choosing him. On the other side of the ball, QB Brett Favre showed his age, and had another "humbling game."
NFL Week 11 Scores And Results: Packers Dominate Entire Game, Trounce Vikings, 31-3
The stats in the game reflected this, as Rodgers completed 22 of 31 passes for 301 yards and four touchdowns. Favre was the goat today, completing only 17 of 38 passes for 208 yards, and one interception.
WR Greg Jennings was the main recipient of Rodgers’ success, catching 7 balls for 153 yards and three touchdowns. For the Vikings, WR Sidney RIce lead the way, but caught only three balls for 53 yards. This was Rice’s first game back from injury this season, as we was just recently taken off the PUP list.
The Packers have now swept the Vikings this year, and today they achieved total revenge against Favre and their division rival. The Packers dominated all aspects of the game, and the score and statistics reflected that. This was a convincing 31-3 victory for them.
