The New Orleans Saints found their way through the Seattle Seahawks defense for a total of 482 yards and 34 points. Through a season which has seen inconsistency for the Drew Brees led Saints offense this may prove to be the offense's best performance.
Seahawks Can’t Stop Saints, Lose 34-19
Brees ended his day with 382 passing yards through 29 completions on 43 passing attempts. Marques Colston benefited the most from Bree's big day, hauling in 8 receptions for 113 yards and 2 touchdowns. Wide receiver Robert Meachem had 3 receptions for 50 yards and 2 touchdowns and tight end Jimmy Graham had 5 catches for 72 yards. With Reggie Bush once again inactive, Chris Ivory had another huge day rushing the ball. Ivory ran the ball 23 times for 99 yards and a touchdown.
The Seahawks stayed in the game based on Matt Hasselback's arm and Olindo Mare's foot. Hasselback threw for 366 yards and a touchdown on 32 of 44 passing. Mare had field goals of 43, 43 and 20 yards respectively to finish with 10 points total.
