Seahawks Can’t Stop Saints, Lose 34-19

The New Orleans Saints found their way through the Seattle Seahawks defense for a total of 482 yards and 34 points. Through a season which has seen inconsistency for the Drew Brees led Saints offense this may prove to be the offense's best performance.

Brees ended his day with 382 passing yards through 29 completions on 43 passing attempts. Marques Colston benefited the most from Bree's big day, hauling in 8 receptions for 113 yards and 2 touchdowns. Wide receiver Robert Meachem had 3 receptions for 50 yards and 2 touchdowns and tight end Jimmy Graham had 5 catches for 72 yards. With Reggie Bush once again inactive, Chris Ivory had another huge day rushing the ball. Ivory ran the ball 23 times for 99 yards and a touchdown.

The Seahawks stayed in the game based on Matt Hasselback's arm and Olindo Mare's foot. Hasselback threw for 366 yards and a touchdown on 32 of 44 passing. Mare had field goals of 43, 43 and 20 yards respectively to finish with 10 points total.
