We're noticing a trend with the New York Giants. They'll lose two in a row, and hear their fans claim the sky is falling, then Eli Manning and Co. will play well bringing their back. We're in stage one of this cycle as, for the second time this season, the Giants have lost two games in a row.
Giants Vs. Eagles: Eli Manning’s Interceptions, Fumble Frustrate New York Fans
The Giants have no one but themselves to blame for this one. Turnovers. Silly penalties. Breakdowns on defense at critical moments. I am tired of watching the Giants play football this way.
The folks over at Big Blue View have a right to feel frustrated because this was only a 10-point game despite all the turnovers and penalties. Manning won’t throw three picks to see the Giants only lose by 10 points very often. I’m not saying they had a chance to win but it was hardly a lost cause.
The Giants lose control of first place and hand it over to the Eagles, who now hold a one-game lead on everyone. The last time the Giants lost two in a row they turned around to win five in a row. We'll see if the Giants complete the cycle and make their fans happy again.
