Saints Vs. Cowboys: Dallas Completes Its Comeback

It’s pretty safe to say that should Dallas hold on to win on Thanksgiving after falling behind 17-0 in the first quarter that Jason Garrett has secured his long-term security as head coach of the Cowboys.

The Saints have struggled mightily to score in the second half. On their best opportunity, still holding the lead but just on the outer fringe of field goal range, failed to convert a 4th down and five.

New Orleans got the ball back still holding the lead 23-20 midway through the final quarter deep in their own territory. Two plays later, Drew Brees was intercepted after a pass careened off his hands of reserve tight end Jimmy Graham, playing in place of the injured Jeremy Shockey.

The interception by Gerald Sensabaugh to taken to the Dallas 49. Five plays later, Tashard Choice ran it in to give Dallas its first lead of the game.
