Philadelphia Eagles QB Michael Vick produced another ridiculous stats platter for you today, with 377 total yards and two touchdowns, but turned the ball over for the first time all season. The Chicago Bears sacked him four times and rarely let him stand still otherwise.
NFL Week 12 Scores And Results: Bears Hang On To Stop Eagles, 31-26
Leading 31-13 early in the fourth quarter, the Bears held the Eagles to two straight field goals before giving up a 30-yard flick into triple coverage from Vick to TE Brent Celek to close the lead to five. An onside kick pulled down by WR Johnny Knox later, and the Bears earned an in-the-clear one-game lead in the NFC North.
Jay Cutler threw four touchdowns, two of them to Earl Bennett, and Matt Forte ran for 117 yards on only 14 carries.
The 8-3 Bears travel to Detroit to play the Lions next week. The 7-4 Eagles get the Houston Texans at home.
