NFL Week 12 Scores And Results: Matt Cassel Throws Four Touchdown Passes As Chiefs Dominate Seahawks, 42-24
QB Matt Cassel managed the game extremely well, completing 22 of 32 passes for 233 yards and four touchdowns (no interceptions). The lack of turnovers was the difference; as Cassel’s counterpart, QB Matt Hasselbeck, completed 22 of 37 passes for 282 yards, but threw two touchdowns and two interceptions.
Kansas City controlled the clock and played their game. Seattle fell behind 7-0 early, and was playing “catch-up” from the beginning of the game. The Chiefs dominated time of possession, 41 minutes to Seattle’s 19.
The Chiefs rushed 48 times for 270 yards. RB Jamaal Charles had 22 carries for 173 yards and one touchdown.
In the losing effort, Seahawks mustered just 28 yards on the ground today. RB Marshawn Lynch lead the way with seven carries for only 20 yards.
Kansas City clicked on all cylinders, and the score reflected as such.
