Chargers Vs. Colts: Tolbert’s Touchdown Run Extends San Diego’s Lead

Considering they’ve scored 33 points on the night, it’s nice of the San Diego offense to get in on some of that scoring.

Before the fourth quarter all of San Diego’s points came from field goals and interceptions returns. Finally, the offense got on the board.

Running back Mike Tolbert scored on a three-yard run, giving San Diego a 33-14 lead over Indianapolis with 11:26 to go. San Diego went on a 10-play, 61-yard drive in 6:01, culminating with Tolbert’s 3-yard plunge.

They followed that up by recovering a fumble and converting that into one of their patented field goals to extend the lead to 36-14. Hope you had Nate Kaeding on your fantasy team this week.
